Offering Commitment

Between you and the Lord

This is not a pledge drive. No money is collected here. Prayerfully write down what He has placed on your heart toward the Joshua Initiative, and we will discern His provision together from what comes back.

Before you submit

A few quiet moments first

This is the online form of the building commitment card the congregation takes home after two weeks of fasting and prayer. Whether you fill this out at the close of a Sunday service or at your kitchen table on a Tuesday morning, the heart of it is the same.

Spend a few minutes in prayer before you write anything down. Ask the Lord, plainly, what He would have you offer toward this work. Not what would impress. Not what would be comfortable. Not what someone else seems to be doing. What He puts on your heart. Then write it down, even if it surprises you.

How this works

Four simple things to know

  1. 1

    No money changes hands here.

This form does not process a payment. We do not bill you, we do not charge you, and we will not follow up looking for the money. The number you write is a commitment between you and the Lord — an act of faith and prayer, not a transaction.

  2. 2

    Held in confidence.

Your name comes with the commitment, but it goes no further. What the Lord has put on your heart is between you and Him.

  3. 3

    Monthly counts — in full.

A number of you have said, “I want to give more, but it has to be monthly.” Because the property loan requires no payments for the first year, a monthly commitment for the next 12 months counts toward the goal in full — $300 a month counts as $3,600. Enter the monthly amount on the form and mark it “Monthly for the next 12 months.”

  4. 4

We tally only what comes back.

When the prayer-and-fasting season closes, we’ll add up all the commitments together. What the body sees is the picture, not the names — just the shape of what the Lord has put on the heart of the fellowship. From that picture we discern how He is leading on funding and timing.

Then the people rejoiced because they had given willingly, for with a whole heart they had offered freely to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.

Your commitment

Prayerfully, faithfully

Take your time within the window — the 70 days close July 26.

A private commitment between you and the Lord. This is a soft commitment. No payment is collected. We tally only what comes back so we can discern together how He is providing.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
Enter the total dollar amount you sense Him asking you to offer toward the Joshua Initiative. For a monthly commitment, enter the monthly amount and mark it below — the full 12-month total counts toward the goal (e.g. $300/month counts as $3,600).
Is this a one-time gift, a monthly commitment, or other?(Required)
Because the property loan requires no payments for the first year, a monthly commitment over the next 12 months counts toward the goal in full — the amount above will be applied for each of the next 12 months.

102 givers have taken part so far — at church and online

Names are not shown publicly. Dollar amounts are not shown. Just the count, so the body can see together that the Lord is moving.
