A Practical Way to Trust God
Giving is a Spiritual Discipline related to the heart. It’s not the money God wants or needs, it is the heart and trust of His children. Our ability to trust Him with the money He has allowed us to manage reveals a spiritual maturity that will lead to a loose grip of the very thing that enslaves others (both the rich and poor).
2 Cor 9:7
Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Generosity is Important
Our ability as Christians to generously give up what we work so hard to collect reveals a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit. The more generous, the more joyful and freeing that act becomes! God’s word also promises that He will never be in debt to any of us!
